ELIGIBILITY FOR PARTIAL EDUCATION LOAN REPAYMENT GRANTS
Those eligible to receive education loan repayment grants are professional church
workers, called by the KS District LCMS who:

1. Are graduates of Synod institutions of higher education or have completed the colloquy program and are already serving in a Shawnee County LCMS congregation.
2. Have debt related to a position within the church or colloquy toward called status (undergraduate studies included).
3. Are working full-time or part-time in a Shawnee County LCMS congregation.
4. Loan repayment grant, if awarded, will be submitted directly to the applicant’s lender.
5. Loan repayment grant, if awarded, can be used for any educational indebtedness such as federally subsidized or commercial loans, credit card debt for purchase of books or other coursework resources (verification of educational expenses will be requested).
